The NordicTrack X7i is an incline trainer that simulates a run across real trails in the real world by using 3D terrain data from Google Maps! It has a little map viewer so you can see your progress as you run. Someone needs to connect this to foursquare...

Here is a health game through Pruhealth in Great Britain, where you can earn "Vitality Points" by walking with your Fitbug pedometer. These points can get you "big savings with our reward partners" and actually save you money on your health insurance.

A touch sensitive LCD tablet for $30. Runs for years on a watch battery. I'm sure it will be on the back of Corn Flakes boxes soon. :)

Philips Activa


The Philips Activa is slated to come out in April 2010. It is an MP3 player with a built in accelerometer that matches your jogging pace. No big deal so far. But it also analyzes your music library for tempo, and then, yeah, you guessed it, plays music with a beat that matches your running speed!
